Ituri : des militaires FARDC et des collaborateurs de l’ADF parmi des présumés criminels présentés au Gouverneur militaire à Bunia

Les services de sécurité ont présenté à Bunia, le mardi 14 mai 2024, au gouverneur militaire de la province de l’Ituri, une cinquantaine de présumés criminels parmi lesquels des militaires de Forces armées de la République Démocratique du Congo, FARDC et des rebelles ougandais de l’ADF.

Dans cette catégorie, ils sont au nombre de sept, ces militaires FARDC qui ont été présentés devant l’autorité provinciale. Ils sont arrêtés pour avoir fui devant l’ennemi, les rebelles du M23 dans la province du Nord-Kivu. Deux autres militaires arrêtés ont été, quant à eux, cités dans la vente d’armes. A leurs côtés, l’on retrouve neuf personnes citées dans le recrutement et le ravitaillement des rebelles ougandais de l’ADF sur l’axe routier Komanda – Luna, dans la province de l’Ituri, une rébellion qui est aussi active au Nord-Kivu.

C’est l’un des officiers militaires FARDC chargé des renseignements au sein du secteur opérationnel de l’Ituri qui présente premièrement ces 20 personnes regroupées en trois catégories au lieutenant-géneral Johnny Luboya N’kashama. Deux autres civils sont arrêtés pour avoir été dénonciateurs des éléments ADF pendant qu’ils étaient en mission d’exploration dans ce secteur opérationnel de l’Ituri.

De son côté, la police nationale congolaise a présenté 33 personnes arrêtées pour plusieurs infractions dans les communes de Shari et Mbunya en ville de Bunia. D’abord un gérant de l’hôtel « Joli coin » qui est aux arrêts pour détention illégale d’une arme à feu. Quatre autres civils qui se trouvaient dans cet hôtel, ont été aussi arrêtés, considérés comme des présumés collaborateurs du gérant, étant donné qu’ils n’avaient aucune pièce pour leur identification.

Des jeunes civils au nombre de 15, communément appelés « Ulor » qui se livrent dans la vente et consommation des chanvres et boissons fortement alcoolisées dans plusieurs quartiers de la ville, ont été aussi présentés avec une arme blanche (machette) qu’ils détenaient.

La police a, elle, également présenté un groupe de 7 femmes au près de qui des chanvres ont été saisis et des ballons des moustiquaires imprégnées d’insecticides non encore utilisées que le gouvernement congolais a récemment distribué gratuitement à la population et dont la commercialisation est formellement interdite. Au moins six militaires et policiers retrouvés avec des chanvres, également arrêtés par la police, ont été présentés au gouverneur militaire.

Un acte vivement salué par le général Luboya qui félicite le travail réalisé par les services de sécurité, ramenant un résultat positif de mission leur confiée par le président de la République, commandant suprême, celle de protéger la population et ses biens. L’autorité provinciale rassure la population de la détermination des services de sécurité à poursuivre cette mission afin que la ville de Bunia soit débarrassée des malfaiteurs.

« Il faut que ces populations se rendent compte que nous ne dormons pas, à tout moment, nous sommes présents et à tout moment nous traquons tout ces criminels. Et cela va continuer pour qu’effectivement cette ville soit vraiment débarrassée de tous ces grand bandits », indique-t-il.

Pendant ce temps, les enquêtes continuent pour que les faits soient établis, chacun devant son juge naturel pendant que la justice militaire détient ces présumés criminels.
